The compounding workshops are presented by the ACHCU Clinical Team. The workshop provides pharmacy personnel with a comprehensive overview of the accreditation process and a standard-by-standard* review of the requirements for meeting compliance with the standards and the new version of USP <795> and <797> becoming official on November 1, 2023.

*Current PCAB standards will be covered, including valuable interpretations of future standard changes that will be available later this summer. An updated ACHC Guide to Success PCAB Compounding Workbook will be sent to all attendees after updates have been made.

The virtual workshop will include:

• A prerecorded introductory webinar on the initial and renewal accreditation process. You will be able to download and review the webinar prior to a live workshop session.
• A half day live online session. Join our presenters and other attendees for a detailed look at ACHC pharmacy standards, common survey deficiencies, and a Q&A session.
• ACHC Guide to Success PCAB Compounding Workbook

Since USP General Chapter <800> became official on December 1, 2019, there has been much discussion among pharmacies about the interpretation of these new guidelines – and the impact on pharmacy operations. During this workshop, participants will examine the requirements to comply with USP <800> now that it will no longer be informational and will be compendially applicable as of November 1, 2023, as it relates to sterile and non-sterile compounding based on the new versions of USP <795> and <797> becoming official on November 1, 2023

The Specialty Pharmacy workshop provides pharmacy personnel a comprehensive overview of the ACHC Accreditation process under Specialty Pharmacy standards.
