With the anticipated June 1 publication of revised USP General Chapters <795> and <797>, ACHCU has decided to avoid hosting a presentation which includes information that would become outdated within several months. Upon publication of the new Chapters, we will develop new workshop content that will focus on education and compliance per the current published versions of <795> and <797>, to help pharmacies ensure they are meeting the latest standards in pharmacy compounding quality and safety.

The PCAB/USP <795>, <797>, and <800> Compliance workshop is presented by an ACHCU Clinical Team. The workshop provides pharmacy personnel with a comprehensive overview of the accreditation process and a standard-by-standard review of the requirements for USP <795>, <797>, and <800> compliance. The two-day course is conducted with a personalized approach that delivers valuable insight into compliance with USP Guidelines. The workshop is designed for customers who are seeking PCAB or Infusion accreditation.

This workshop will offer CEs.

Workshop participants will be provided with:

  • Hands-on training for using the take-home ACHC Accreditation Guide to Successworkbook, a program-specific and comprehensive tool that offers guidance on the meanings and requirements of each ACHC Accreditation Standard along with audit tools and hints
  • Review of the compounding standards
  • How to prepare a Preliminary Evidence Report (PER)
  • How to create an effective Plan Of Correction (POC)
  • Discuss what is an effective Performance Improvement plan (PI)
  • Essential components of accreditation preparation
  • Expectations and best practices for a successful on-site survey

Each attendee will receive the ACHC Accreditation Guide to Success workbook for FREE, which will be used as the primary learning instrument during the course. This workbook serves as a valuable reference tool for achieving or maintaining accreditation.

Unless otherwise noted, workshops are held at ACHC’s Corporate Headquarters in Cary, NC
(a five-minute drive from Raleigh-Durham International airport - RDU).
